Description: VisualPulse is a Web-based monitoring tool designed for easy reporting of Internet service availability. VisualPulse enables monitoring of specific websites, servers, and network nodes anywhere over the Internet, corporate Intranet or Extranet, visually providing real-time and historical reports for Ping, Http and TCP statistics.
VisualPulse continuously gathers and summarizes latency and availability data for all three data sources (Ping, Http, and TCP) at regular intervals. A variety of standard reports are available for easy reporting -- such as an overall summary, last hour, last 24 hours -- along with user-defined options for customized reports. The information is reported in real-time and historically, so that current and past problems may be readily identified and investigated. The user may configure global or individual thresholds for automated alerting of potential problems. Automated capture of traceroute diagnostics allows analysis of connectivity problems regardless of when problems occur. | Short tags: ping, network latency, packet loss, network monitor, service level, tcp monitor, http monitor, Web monitor, traceroute, tracert | System Requirements: MS Java VM or SUN JRE | Change Info: New automated traceroute capability captures and logs connectivity diagnostics for analysis | |

- Advanced Host Monitor – keep your fingers on the pulse of your network Being a system administrator is somewhat similar to being a doctor — servers and websites can go down unexpectedly and at any moment and you can be woken up at night by an emergency.
