Description: Proteg Enterprise 2005 is a software that allows users to secure their personal or notebook computers by preventing unauthorized access. It fortifies the existing Windows login mechanism by binding the user account to a ubiquitous hardware device: A portable USB flash drive (USB Key, USB storage device, thumbdrive). An additional hardware component becomes compulsory in order to login to the computer, instead of relying solely on the conventional username and password pair.
Offering greater security than passwords alone, this hardware based system (commonly known as a two-factor authentication system) creates a physical link between a user and his identity. In a two-factor authentication system like Proteg, the user is required to present the physical hardware (something the user has) and provide the correct password (something the user knows) that corresponds to the said hardware in order to gain legitimate access to the system.
The sofware supports both local and Windows domain login. | Short tags: USB access control, Windows login, logon, USB storage device, thumbdrive, USB key, flash memory, flash drive, two factor authentication, keyboard logger, affordable, strong password, token | System Requirements: 128MB RAM | Change Info: Option available to disable lock screen when USB flash drive is disconnected | Find last version of Proteg Enterprise 2005 | |

- USB CopyNotify! – a reliable USB sentinel that won't let your data be stolen Todays USB drives are compact, spacious and fast, which makes them a standard medium for data storage and transfer. Their size and speed also make them an ideal tool for data theft — you can simply plug a tiny device into a USB port of any computer on the network and copy gigabytes of data in a couple of minutes. - Personal Passworder – more than a simple password storage for an active Internet user If you spend more than 5 minutes on the web every day, it is very likely that you are registered in several online services, numerous forums, conferences, user various IM clients, email accounts and other solutions that require user authorization. Using a single password for all of them is plain unsafe, as a single hack or leak of information will give the lucky intruder access
- Virtual Flash Drive - a hack-proof container for your most valuable data If the content of your hard drives is not limited to family photos and favorite MP3 tracks and you have information that you'd rather not make public, you have several options to choose from. The easiest method would be to hide your data folders in the depths of your system hoping that intruders would not be smart enough to look in non-standard locations. However, this is a bit naïve and you shouldn't rely on this method if you want real
- KDT Soft. Recover Product Key 1.1.2, Gimme The Key! The «product key» concept has become usual for most of us. Typically, when you take a copy of some software, you dont own it, you just use it. What you own is a «product key» just several letters and numbers of the «personal key» generated for you by the vendor. Its an industry standard, and its almost fine
- File Security Manager - full control over file and folder access permissions (even in Windows XP Home) Being an overall excellent operating system, Windows XP does have some versions that limit users control capabilities to a bare minimum. For instance, Windows XP Home offers a great set of multimedia and general features, but lacks the degree of flexibility that many advanced users would definitely appreciate. For instance, the Home version will not allow you to set file and folder access
- UI Builder for Access - a drastic usability improvement for your Access applications Microsoft Access is one of the most popular solutions for quick creation of database-driven applications mostly used in office environments. - Link Logger: Know Your Visitors The expansion of the Internet has not only improved our performance and information awareness; it has also brought to us new security challenges. - Token Frenzy. Small Car in the Big City. "OK", you thought after reading title, "just one more street racing or something like this. What the interesting they can offer me?" And you have missed it com-ple-te-ly! Because Token Frenzy game, is, first of all, *not* a racing of any kind (though there *is* the car and the road); and, second, it is *really interesting*. What you need to accomplish this game's levels is not feverish button-pressing to avoid walls and other cars and run to
