Description: FEAView is a finite element modeler and post-processor for linear static problems using MSC. Nastran. It supports all the elements, properties, materials, and loads commonly used in structures problems. FEAview has its roots in aircraft structural analysis. It is rich in graphics and transforms the model and solver results data into readily comprehensible 3D graphical and tabular displays. FEAview aims to simplify finite element analysis for the working engineer who doesn't necessarily have a background in the subject or for students who are learning it. Our 2006 development plans: 1.) Convert FEAview into a general purpose post-processor for scientific applications. 2.) Connect it to one or more scientific data management packages. 3.) Port to Linux/Unix and Mac OS X.
