Description: Anasil is a software network analyzer and protocol decoder for distributed Ethernet networks. System architecture is based on a remote Agent modules what enables IT managers to remotely monitor and manage a multi-segment networks from one central console. Anasil consists of three modules: network discovery and mapping, network traffic monitoring and frame capturing, network event recording and alerting. Anasil delivers detailed and sophisticated statistics on a network traffic and can capture and decode defined network packages. Additionally, the build-in, programmable package decoder allows to analyze frames of not only popular protocols, but also the ones defined by a user. Anasil has been designed as an application operating as MMC (Microsoft Management Console) plug-in, which is a standard platform for all administrative tools, according to the Microsoft guidelines. Each module is a separate snap-in, which enables you to attach Anasil to MMC tools which are created by network supervisors.
