MediaMiner is a data mining, web research and SEO tool. It specializes in news, press releases, podcasts, forums and blogs. Results are saved as HTML (using XSLT), PDF or XML (ATOM & RSS) and uploaded to your server. Find out what your customers are saying about your company, do online media analysis, find out if your marketing strategy is working, create a media portal or add breaking news to your website. If you do web research or if you want content for your website try MediaMiner. MediaMiner is designed for researchers and webmasters. Researchers can use it to search for current online media and to categorize it, while webmasters can dynamically integrate that media into their websites through XML or HTML. Included is a sample application that lets you search for Media about the world's largest companies. The MediaMiner has two main components, its options and its map. The options tell it whether to generate HTML, XML and upload the results. You can also define the frequency that it crawls, how to filter the results and where to search. It can constantly search for your Media requirements. You will want to see your results, so be sure to select Highlight Hits, and everything you are looking for will be highlighted. You can also search multiple search engines and save the results as XML or PDF. You can even save podcasts in pdf documents and send them to your friends. Increasingly search engines are returning search results as xml, which enables you to save these results and re-aggregate them. Get the content you need as soon as it is available, browse over 60,000 categorized newsfeeds, republish content from these newsfeeds, save search results from search engines as newsfeeds, republish content from these search results, manage your own collection of newsfeeds, and submit newfeeds so that other users can share them.
