If you are the owner of an HP IPAQ, a Dell Axim or Toshiba Pocket PC, this is the communications software for you.
Connect your PDA to the Internet:
Pocket PhoneTools will automatically configure your Internet connection when you use your cell phone as a modem with your PDA. Pocket PhoneTools 5 has an integrated database of 320 major cell phone operators in 87 countries to make it easy for you to find and configure a high-speed data connection using 3G, GPRS or CDMA networks. Pocket PhoneTools automatically detects what kind of connection your are using for your cell phone (Bluetooth, infrared or cable) and stores your personal parameters for future use. If your connection is dropped due to network problems, Pocket PhoneTools automatically chooses a back-up connection that you’ve defined previously. The software also launches whatever application you choose on start-up including Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger, WAP Navigator and/or your email client.
Synchronize your cell phone with your Pocket PC:
Back up your cell phone contacts, and with the new Pocket PhoneTools 5 Dialer you can use your PDA as a cell phone if it’s equipped with a voice card. Assign speed dial numbers, get voice mail or call directly from your Pocket PC "contacts" directory. Send, receive and archive your SMS messages on your Pocket PC, or create pre-recorded messages for later transmission. Pocket PhoneTools 5 recognizes the UCS2 format so you can send and receive Asian SMS messages.
Turn your PDA into a complete mobile office:
Send fax messages directly from your Pocket PC ; annotate, include attachments using Pocket Word, and customize your faxes using included templates. | Short tags: pocket PC software, pda software, pda internet connection, gprs, 3G, cell phone pad internet connection, cellphone pda sync. | System Requirements: 7 Mb of free disk space; 6.1 MB PC mem; 2.1 MB Pocket PC memory | Change Info: 3G | |
