Description: "Aqua Pearls" continues the popular series of arcade and puzzle games, which revolve around a funny bubble character, Aquatic. This time you are taken on a fantasy adventure deep in the ocean, where you must accompany your little friend in his quest for stolen jewelry. A magic pearls necklace, which protects four oceans from evil, has been stolen and disassembled into white, purple, black and gold pearls. You and Aquatic must explore variously-themed locations to find all pearls and restore peace to the underwater world.
The challenge of the game is to keep pace with the string of pearls. They are rolling along a winding groove towards the seashell. As soon as they have reached the seashell, the game is over and you have to start again. To keep pace with the pearls, you must quickly shoot a pearl into the string, so that you have at least three pearls of the same color. They pop up, and the string becomes shorter. To increase your survival chances, you must look for pearls that have a star inside. If you collect enough stars, you will be rewarded with upgrade bonus opportunities.
The system of bonuses in "Aqua Pearls" adds more fun to the gameplay. There are bonuses that add to your score, as well as those that give a chance to survive. You can discover bonus pearls that stop the string for a few seconds, make it run backwards, or help you target with an aiming ray. To spice up the gameplay, "Aqua Pearls" gives you a handful of "explosive" bonuses. The rocket bonus, for example, launches a rocket that blows up all pearls on its way.
"Aqua Pearls" has wonderfully crafted graphics and animations, which make the gameplay twice as attractive. The adventure takes place among colorful underwater surroundings with coral reefs, sea plants and ocean inhabitants. The visuals change, as you continue you adventure on the next level. In addition to the adventure mode, you can opt for strategy mode, endless mode, and puzzle mode, each of which comes with three difficulty. | Short tags: pearls, zuma, puzzle, aqua, aquatic, bonuses, game | System Requirements: Pentium II 400, DirectX 8.0, 8 Mb Video, 64 Mb RAM | Change Info: n/a | |
