Description: Zilab Remote Console Server, as its name implies, is an advanced and convenient remote access server for Windows 2003/XP/2000/NT that works with console-based and DOS legacy applications. It runs as a regular network service for Windows 2003/XP/2000/NT and features multiple user support, SSL encrypted connections, dynamic console size tracking, transparent client side printing, port forwarding and session recording.
New port forwarding options now support HTTP and SOCKS 4/5 proxy interfaces on client and server to client port forwarding. This allows connecting various Internet applications including Web browsers, FTP and POP3 software over single secure connection to protect data from interception or modification by third parties.
Zilab Remote Console Server offers two important features that make this software standout from a crowd of competing titles. First, it provides an easy way to print any information from the console application hosted on a server directly on the client local printer. This feature works accurately even when multiple users are connected. Second, unlike older telnet/SSH applications, Zilab Remote Console Server displays console panel without distortions and supports mouse, function keys and hotkey combinations (like Ctrl+C). The connection and data transfer speeds are very fast.
Most importantly, the software can be tried free of charge. Should you decide to purchase the program, you pay only for the server-side part ($99). All client-side components are free! | Short tags: Remote, access, server, for, Windows, 2003/XP/2000/NT | System Requirements: approx. 2 MB of RAM per session, 3 MB of disk space | Change Info: Client side printing, online monitoring, SSL encryption, HTTP/SOCKS proxy for port forwarding. | |

- Remote Files Server - an affordable alternative to expensive and cumbersome file sharing systems As your corporate or community network grows in size, you may eventually bring some order to it and get rid of hundreds of randomly named folders clogged with thousands of file with equally indecipherable names.
