Barrie's play and successive novel about Peter Pan, and various adaptations of them. Tinkerbell is described as a ordinary fairy who mend pots and kettles, although from time to time naughty and malicious. At other times she is supportive and kind to Peter, for whom she actually has passionate feelings for. The boundaries in her personality are explained by the fact that a fairy's size prevents her from hold more than one emotion at a time.
