Description: A combination of real time and turn based strategy game, Radioactive is an easy to play game for one to four players. Reminscent of the movie war games, the objective is to destroy the enemy with nuclear weapons that are fired using a simple set-the-angle and set-the-range system. Each side starts with cities which can hold key headquarters buildings, silos which fire normal missiles, submarines which fire clusters of 3 smaller missiles, airfields which hold 3 slow moving bombers each, aircraft carriers which hold one bomber each, ABM units which fire anit-missile missiles at nearby bombers or missiles and finally factories which resupply silos and ABM units. The strategy is quite deep and involved and yet the game is very easy to learn and play. The game supports zero to four human players on the same PC, (yes you can set the computer to play itself) and you can play computer opponents of particular styles and skills. There are many options in the game, many strategies, and many hours of entertainment. | Short tags: atomic, chess, war games, nuclear war, wargames, risk | System Requirements: DirectX7.0 or higher | |
