Description: This is a handy file utility that perform quick file search, view, player, compare, shredder, and remove duplicate files, with many useful features that can help you to save your time, energy and money.
FileCake supports two basic modes: duplicate file finder and fast file searcher, and has many timesaving features.
1, Find and remove duplicate files, save your hard disk space, clean your bloated PC machines. The compare algorithm includes file name, file size, checksum (MD5), and byte by byte.
For mp3 fans, FileCake can also compare mp3 files content by ignoring ID3 tags or only check the ID3 tags (compare title, artist, album, comment, and more).
2, Fast search and manage files with number of filter conditions, save your time. The search can be driven by filename, size, date, time stamp, image dimension (width and height), or any string/hex pattern.
3, Search in local area network (LAN). Help you to find your LAN neighbors' share files.
4, Perform many operations on found files, copy, move, rename, delete, shredder, quick view, batch process, and more. File shredder can wipe files permanently with high security algorithm; file viewer can let you browse file content quickly for a number of file types (mp3, video, pictures, MS Office documents, RAR, ZIP, and more) and you can also play each file one by one automatically.
5, Search in found files to reduce the target scope. For duplicate files, you can also search oldest, older, newer or newest files. This will save you much time to manage duplicate files.
