Description:
S-SIBâ„¢ creates a VPN (Virtual Private Network), an encrypted, hacker-resistant "tunnel" between the end user's computer and the secure Skyy-Fi network gateway. This tunnel uses both hardware and software components to protect end user data that travels across any type of network to the Internet. Should a hacker actually capture any data, it will be scrambled beyond recognition and impossible to read. Many large corporations use Virtual Private Networks to secure connections between offices, secure data that travels to other companies and provide secure network access to remote workers in the field.
S-SIB protects users from theft of their personal and critical business data when used over wireless and wired network connections. S-SIB is a Virtual Private Network (VPN) service with a nominal annual fee that secures a user's internet usage via any wireless or wired connection with government-grade 256-bit encryption, logging users through secure servers to create high-bandwidth encrypted VPN tunnels. The S-SIB(TM) subscriber IP address is exchanged for a Seamless IP address, making users anonymous and prohibiting IP tracking. S-SIB(TM) is an essential security safeguard for mobile computer users to prevent interception of sensitive data and identity theft. According to information released in the Department of Homeland Security Daily Open Source Infrastructure Report for 02 August 2007, "users should never use a Wi-Fi hotspot unless they are using VPN (virtual private networking) or SSL (secure sockets layer) to access their accounts.Accessing the Internet at un-secured Wi-Fi access points in a public place, such as a hotel or coffee shop, is very convenient, but it can be very dangerous since your activity can be intercepted, resulting in stolen passwords and data.
