Almost 40 years ago, when computers were large working machines and the phrase «computer game» sounded absurdly, a famous British mathematician invented the so-called «Game of Life», which by no means was a game, it was rather an example of a cellular automata clear for even a child. You certainly have seen those black-and-white cells (and possibly even have written you own example in the middle school).
Many years later, smart guys from AsteriskSoft brought new life to the good old game: the modern Conways «game» of life is a real *game*! Or, I must say, even a bundle of games, where you can even create new ones. CellFighter remember this name; youll hear it many times in the future.
In this colorful CellFighter you can add cells of different types (besides the normal «alive» ones) to field: food, passive stones, and different life and death sources. Player can also add new alive cells (if not restricted by current games rules). Players task may vary also: it may be to battle the enemy?s colony or to achieve a precise count for your colony, or to achieve some other, more complex goals.
You wouldnt find the «cool new 3D graphic» or «realistic sound» or «world-wide multi-player game» here. Youll only find something that will force you to play for hours. | | | Learn more about CellFighter… |

- Game Cheater ArtMoney 7.21. Funny Tricks. Game cheating is not so fair, but sometimes its a very joyful thing. When you have hundreds of monsters in the next room, and only five ammos is it a fair play? So, who can blame you for such a natural wish of having five THOUSANDS of ammos or, better one big bad RPG? There are much more examples like «not enough money» in strategy
- Double Solitaire, Another Dimension of the Old Game The computerization of good old board games (like cards) sometimes brings awesome results. I am talking about cases where the author of a «virtual equivalent of a real game» can find and embody some new features, because of which the game remains almost the same, but its playability receives a completely new dimension. The good example is Double Solitaire, which harmonically
- All-in-One Journal 4.0, Logging the Life Our biological memory is imperfect. Through the days flow, we gradually lose «insignificant» details, which eventually compose our entire days, weeks and months; sometimes an «event-poor year» gets squeezed into a few days in our memory. Only after a long time those «insignificant» details become precious but theres no more facility in the world
- War Games Construction Kit Do you sometimes think its high time you took a break and put your work off for a minute? You definitely do. - Lines Push 3.45, The New Old Game You definitely know the old classic Lines game, which was like «move the colorful balls through the field to make the combinations (lines) of a color». - Total Game Control, The Helping Edge Is it even appropriate to compare the feeling of playing a dynamic action game with the keyboard and the feeling of playing the same game with an intuitive control device — like a steering wheel for racing or a joystick for an action game?
