A typical computer user, when he becomes a bit «advanced» (which means, he uses applications beyond Word and Minesweeper), suffers a lot from the ineffective standard Windows environment (Desktop). Windows lacks Information on the system state, lacks Control over running processes, and lacks Tools in user’s hands. To perform, view or change Something under Windows, we would need to do a lot of useless clicking, which is just as annoying as it is useless.
