WakeMeUp! is a Windows alarm clock with a very large number of possibilities. If the term «professional» could be applied to any alarm software, it would be WakeMeUp!
Using this program, anyone can set a number of completely different alarms. You can be woken up on workdays at one time, but at another time on weekends. You can use your computer as a cuckoo clock by setting up the sound for the beginning of every hour. Once a week you can be gently alarmed in time for your favorite TV-show. And, once a year you can be urgently alarmed on the day of your wedding anniversary (Or do you really want to miss it?). Finally, you can set all of those alarms simultaneously. Not only the alarm time is highly customizable, but also the alarm itself. Any MP3, WMA, OGG, CD track, WAV or M3U playlist can be played. WakeMeUp! can wake up your computer from a deep sleep (even Hibernation). It can also increase playback volume. So, your awakening is guaranteed to be timely, but not pleasant. C’ect la vie. In addition to its advanced «morning service», the software has an «evening service» (named SoftAsleep). It helps you to fall asleep with comfort. Using this function, you can watch TV or listen to music before you go to sleep, and WakeMeUp! would gradually decrease the volume and put your computer in Stand By mode.
