3C Texas Holdem Poker. From the Legends

As the poker game has huge popularity and great widespread, its modification called «Texas Hold ’Em (holdem)» is, possibly, the most popular of the pokers (at least, the most popular of the «community» poker flavor.) The legend says that Texas holdem originated from Robstown, Texas, in the early 1900s. We would never know whether this is truth, but what we do know exactly are the names of Texans who have brought the Texas variation of the game to Las Vegas. Those are the legendary gamblers Crandell Addington, Doyle Brunson, and Amarillo Slim. Now, the Texas holdem is played at the World Series of Poker, the most prestigious set of poker tournaments in the world, also started by the Las Vegas legend, Benny Binion.
