Some people (those with scanty imagination) like to say «nothing in today’s world can be invented». They are not original.
Back in 1899, Charles Duell of the U. S. Office of Patents said, «Everything that can be invented, has been invented.» Now we know he was wrong.
Thus, we can suppose today’s skeptics are wrong too, and there are still many areas for amazing inventions. Here is a little proof for that statement. A man who has invented… the clock! A Russian inventor Anatoly Oparin holds a patent for inventing the new principle of indicating time.
Oparin’s clock implement the completely new idea, a combination of the ideas of the common digital and analog clock. It’s like the analog clock with digits put on the clock hands instead being put on the clock face. Such clock is more informative than the traditional digital clock, and the time is read quicker than off a clock with the regular hands.
This outstanding idea has been realized in Oparin’s screensaver with a similar name (Oparin Clock screensaver). Despite of the pioneering principle of work, the screensaver is packed with all rich features of commercial software: flexible options and pretty look. There are settings for colors, forms and sizes, and for backgrounds, which can be changeable.
