Last times Ive been lucky finding unusual implementations for usual ideas.
Naturally, Ive noticed that when a genius mind breaks the borders of the «usuality», the resulting re-invention of old ideas typically becomes extremely useful and effective.
ECalcPad is just that case. Its a calculator, but I bet this is a kind of calculator you have never seen before. Nevertheless, its a kind of calculator you would take as the most natural thing in the world. It makes you think of a calculation as of a «document» something you do, then save, then load and re-use. Those «documents»-like calculations look a bit like Excel tables but only a bit. Actually, these «documents» have rows of three main columns: row («variable») name, expression defining the variable, and result of calculating that expression. The rows-«variables» can be reused in expressions below and those are recalculated each time the variable is changed. Thus, you can build up a long sheet of calculations, then change a variable in the first row and OP! all expressions are recalculated in a moment.
ECalcPad provides numerous mathematical functions (you can even select them instead of typing) and users can define and save their own new functions.
The program also has the comments pad, handy keyboard and mouse controls and (thats a great secret!) the calorie calculation mode!
