The loss of important data is a nightmare for any computer user.
Its a certain consequence of ephemerality and conventionality common for digital information: There is just a chain of bits, which your documents, photographs and music consists of, and it is so easy to break this chain of bits! No matter was the lost file a 2-million-dollar contract or just some photos of your childs first steps. When you lose it (due to an error or by accident), youll never get this unique file back. Unless you have backed up your data. There is such solution, which is perfect for home users: DFIncBackup Home.
This handy software wouldnt require any advanced knowledge of the technology or spending long time learning the basics: a couple of wizards and preset templates will let you choose, which files/folders are to be backed up, and how they are to be saved (backed up) in no more than a few minutes.
Though the software is flexible enough so you can select, which files and folders are to be backed up (options like «backup this entire folder except sub-folders A and B» are normal and obvious.)
Another thing youd certainly like about DFIncBackup is how it does the incremental backup: it creates a new zip-file after each backup, and adds only objects that have changed since the last backup to the zip files. Thus, you will obtain small-size backups of virtually ALL versions of your files, which you can always get back in no time. | | | Learn more about DFIncBackup Home… |
