I’m going not to waste words. Today it is not a question whether backing up is necessary — yes, it is. It is not a question, why it is necessary — a couple of reasons, slightly different for each of us. Today it is not a question whether we should backup our data with our own hands or use specialized backup software (yes, using software makes the job much easier and more reliable.) The only question is: which software to use? Let me present All-Round Backup Pro as my today’s answer to the question.
With this software, you can create any number of «tasks», i.e. objects that are to be backed up the same way, simultaneously.
For each task, you first select which objects are to be saved: Either files/folders or some settings, registry keys, favorites, contacts, messages from IE, Outlook and Outlook Express. Then select the destination, which can be virtually anywhere (network, FTP, any removable media, and so on); filters and compression options. Finally, set the task schedule — when the program must run it automatically.
Tasks already created can be organized hierarchically and performed automatically or manually, one-by-one or all-at-once.
Backed up data can be just restored or flexibly two-way synchronized with your
actuals.
