WinTariff. Serious PBX Control

When you are making a serious decision on deploying your own private branch exchange (PBX), you should realize there is a necessity for the appropriate-level accounting system. Let’s define the optimum requirements for such software.
First of all, it must allow very flexible account analysis. For example, the cases like hotel phones, several organizations using the same PBX, several operators accessed through the same PBX, and so on, must be handled easily. Second, our hypothetical ideal software must be convenient to use and clear for the inexperienced users. The last but not the least, the accounting software must be very reliable and not require too powerful hardware.
OK, I will say, the «ideal hypothetical» PBX accounting software is very real; WinTariff is the name. It consists of two modules; the first one is in charge of gathering the statistics (it can work on any Windows, Linux or FreeBSD system), and the other one does the statistics analysis (operates under Windows). The second module can be installed on any computer and connect to the statistics gathering module through a local network. The both modules would run fast on any computer, starting with the 386/16Mb one (!). Flexible accounting algorithms (tariffs) can be easily defined and attached to the toolbar buttons.
