DupKiller 0.8.1. Do it cleaner!

The large size of modern hard disks is a bit of comfort and a bit of pain. The comfort is about how much information, photos, and videos you can store. And the pain is about how to locate and manage all that data. One of the common problems with the huge numbers of files is the problem of duplicates (same files in different places), but, fortunately, the problem has several software solutions — one of them (rather good) is DupKiller.
The very first impression of DupKiller is — it’s amazing. All you could ever need is already there and at the most perfect place. You simply «scan» the disk, see the duplicates, and select, which ones are to be deleted. The miscellaneous options and settings aren’t obtrusive at all — you see them only when you really need to change something (for example, where to scan and how to compare).
A slightly strange to be was made by the default settings of comparison (namely, the option «Same time and date», because times and dates of files can be changed unintentionally during various operations). Nevertheless, most of other settings seem to be «right» and useful, so even not-so-advanced users won’t need to change them at all.
With a large amount of «duplicates», the process of deciding which ones are redundant can be long-drawn (frankly speaking, it would be nice to have some filters for this list), but it would be comfortable and successful.
DupKiller is really good and useful software, capable of effective killing all duplicates.
