We arent going to discuss whether the DRM protection for music and video is a «good» or «bad» thing. There are many good points on the both sides, but not for this time. The only two things I know are: first DRM is *existing* and can be used to protect content wed like to enjoy; and second in many cases, the protection makes life very uncomfortable, when you «just cant» play a song you have legally bought on your own player (which is, unfortunately, not DRM-ready). In the case, Tunebite is just what youd want to have: it allows to un-DRM music, audio-book or video WITHOUT any illegal «tricks».
What Tunebite does is just playing your fair DRM content and re-recording it in a DRM-free format (for music, it would be MP3 or OGG, WMA) simple, easy and legal solution. Tunebites main ingenious function is coupled with several appropriate enhancements and automations. For example, music is not only played/recorded in the automatic and manual modes, but can also be burnt on CD on DVD, organized and converted to phone ringtones. Tunebite has several versions, where Premium is limited to audio files (but all popular DRM formats), Platinum can also re-record videos, and Platinum +MPEG4 offers the modern MPEG4 video encoder on top of that all.
