EnTren is the ingenious foreign language trainer you’ll never get bored with. It is very easy and funny to work with, and through the game-like process all your foreign language skills will seamlessly grow to a much higher level. The most valuable thing is that many skills (like grammar understanding, working vocabulary, speech) are trained simultaneously, in complex. The other goodie is that there is no boredom in the process, as it is not built on recurring dumb exercises, but on the real literary texts.
The idea under EnTren is simple and enjoyable: You have a text in the foreign language that you need to translate, a phrase at a time; and you have a set of words (placed in the circle) from which you should guess and point «the next word of the translation». The program tracks the amount of errors, so you can see your progress by eye. The text you would translate can be either written or recorded in an audio file. In the latter case, the program would automatically pause after each phrase (in fact, on each pause in the sound), so you would train your capability to understand the free speech. In addition, EnTren provides an engine for recording your voice and compare it with the samples in the visual mode.
