DRevitalize 1.1, No Despair!

The so-called «magnetic storage devices» (that record information by magnetizing points on surface) are the most popular storage devices now. Hard disk drive is a certain part of any desktop or mobile computer; it is also often used as an independent data transfer device (though Flash sticks gain the popularity). The Achilles’ heel of any HDD is bad sectors, which are the areas of a disk that cannot be written to or read from due to some kind of damage (typically light physical damage of the entire device or the influence of external magnetic fields). As time goes by, the capacity of such HDD gets lower and lower due to the growing number of the bad sectors. That creates other problems also.
DRevitalize is an «impossible» software suite, able to FIX bad sectors of a HDD and make them «good» again. As for now, DRevitalize works under DOS only (but the modern Windows XP version is coming soon), and it works great. First, it analyzes the surface of the HDD to detect blocks marked as «bad», and then it starts doing its work. The secret under DRevitalize’s «impossible» actions is in producing the special signal sequences, which act as «stress» for the surface and bring «dead» point back to life. Even drives with serious damages are claimed to be repairable with this unique utility.
