Testing (answering to a ton of questions) is the most modern and adequate form of examining someone’s or your own knowledge. And the most modern and adequate software for test design and taking is WinFlash Educator. It is suitable for teacher or trainer, as well as for student self-testing.
WinFlash Educator’s main features are: flexibility, usability, and straight logics. Tests that you can create with this software can be imported from a variety of sources (e.g., common text/table formats or other test software files). Questions may contain any visual or audio materials or have rich text (including OLE objects like equations). But there is also the QuickDeck design mode, where you can just type in a question and the answer. WinFlash Educator supports all types of questions, like «fill-in answer», «multiple-choice answer», «multiple answers». The program will even help you design answers, allowing creating «wrong alternatives» from other answers in the same test, or switch between the «multiple-choice» and «fill-in answer» modes for each question.
WinFlash Educator allows exporting created tests to a variety of formats, and, which is more interesting, compiling contents to create either an «all media in one file» FLZ file, or a «graded exam» FLT file. The latter, being opened on another machine (requires at least a copy of WinFlash Basic installed), prompts the student to enter his/her name, then collect the answers (showing the number of unanswered questions and, optionally, remaining time as the test is administered) and stores them in FLR (result) files, which teacher can further analyze or print. | | | Learn more about WinFlash Educator… |
