Easy FTP DLL contains an Active X control, which handles operations with FTP servers and can be used from any language/environment where Active X controls are suitable.
Easy FTP’s ActiveX is windowless, so it can be created from code in run-time.
Easy FTP’s list of functions offers a full set of FTP interactions; you can browse or list, create, delete, upload and download files and folders on server (wildcards like «*.txt» are acceptable). Any of those tasks require as little code as «just do» — no complex setups, no hours of documentation reading.
Easy FTP suites well for complex real-life applications. It supports transfers of files of any size, gives access to common settings like «passive mode», binary or text transfer modes; handles authorized or anonymous FTP connections. The program understands proxies and provides the «proxy bypass list» option (for local resources). It provides its own progress dialog, which can be turned on by a single flag, as well as «transferring event» sent every 255 bytes transferred (so you can do your own progress presentation easily).
User can also cancel file transfer, and it would be handled correctly.
