Personally I use it. I like to have my things well arranged and each in the right place. This software allows me to organize windows on my desktop.
It looks like my favorite two-panel file-managers, Total Commander and Frigate. In fact, moving a window from the taskbar to a tray and vice versa is as simple as moving a file between panels. Of course, any application can be moved to a tray! And further, windows can be moved to a so-called «hide bar», which makes the window accessible only through hot-keys. This option is very useful for hiding windows that you rarely need, like WinAmp. In Captain Tray, it is possible to hide windows and «Lock» them with a password. You can be away without being afraid of the fact that someone will look at your open documents. An appropriate place (i.e. the taskbar, a tray, or the «hide bar») can be set for each window automatically; there is no need to do this manually. If you want to move WinAmp to the «hide bar» or the calculator to a tray, you set it only once. In addition to these easy-to-use options, there are some very advanced options. For example, you can set the «alarm clock» for any window, and at the selected time the window will remind you about itself by blinking in the taskbar (just like in ICQ conversations). Another cool feature is system-wide hotkeys, even for performing operations with all windows at the same time. For example, you can hide all the windows in a tray or in the «hide bar» when your boss or wife enters the room, and restore them later. I really like it!
