Desktop Icon Toy 2.4, Make It More Exciting

|Windows desktop concept is really toooooo old and soooo boring! Is that really all that I can do with my desktop in today’s dynamic, multimedia-driven, changing world — just move icons from one side to another? Hey, that isn’t even funny!
What is really funny (and still very useful) is Desktop Icon Toy. What can you do with your icons using this beautiful software is a bit of art, a bit of dynamics and a bit of organization. Desktop Icon Toy can align your icons. Not excited? But hey, it can align icons by many complex figures, like circles, stars, spirals… Cool? There is more to it ? clock alignment (rows of your icons would create a digital clock, showing you actual time). In addition, icon layouts can be saved and restored, and even different layouts can be automatically applied for different screen resolutions.
Besides the layout management, Desktop Icon Toy can customize icons’ look: their size can be varied in a wide range (16×16 to 128×128); either text label or picture can be hidden, and their background can be changed.
Do you remember, I’ve mentioned dynamics? That’s about animation: you can animate your icons and make them run across your desktop, or tell your icons to dance when you hover the mouse over it.
