Chroniker Suite of applications is a 360-degree-style almighty work and performance monitor for network environment. It is to be installed on only one computer, and, once installed, it will provide you with a wide horizon for the real-time monitoring of environment: Hardware and software, databases and servers, overall availability and specific tasks.
The suite consists of seven watching modules, and each of them stands out of other similar software. For example, the NodeWatch module provides ways to monitor the availability of any network computer, despite of its connection method and operating system used; the TaskWatch module provides means for requesting and analyzing responses from different server software, like databases, FTP, mail; SystemWatch monitors the load of specific hardware components, like HDD, CPU, memory, and so on.
All Chroniker Suite’s modules provide enough information and methods for the bottleneck analysis (there is a bunch of graphs and reports available), as well as for real-time alerting (through network messaging, e-mail and so on). Chroniker Suite has enough intellect for switching to different operating modes on different days (holiday) or times of day (day/night) with separate statistics and analysis for each operating mode, as well as for generalizations (like sending just one alert for the «dead sub-network» instead of hundreds of «client doesn’t respond» alerts).
