The quality of today’s home and office printers allows making virtually any type of printed production at home. The only sad exception seems to be the large (colorful) posters, banners, wall-photo and schemes — something you can’t print without a large enough printer or plotter.
But you can! ProPoster is software, which takes on itself the tasks of print planning. The application would split your large image into small enough (A4 or A5) pieces, correctly justify the boundaries, and print cutting lines besides image parts.
All that you would still have to do by hand is to set options, press «Print», and then glue the printed parts together.
Working with ProPoster is an easy and joyful process, where you just follow the wizard’s steps. You load your image and see it divided into pieces instantly. You can set any desired poster size (either by entering a cm/inch number or by selecting a standard A3-A0 format). ProPoster correctly picks the number and orientation of the pieces to fit your desired size with the smallest paper rests possible (though, you can still rotate paper manually). You can preview each page (to see all the fitting, cutting lines, and glue fields), then print all the pages or only some of them (suppose, you have printed entire poster before, but some of the pages have been lost).
Additional convenient options are the capability to cut image in-place and control its quality (quality of stretching) through the small window with the «real size» picture fragment. | | | Learn more about ProPoster… |
