It is well-known that the position of any web page in search results (and, therefore, its «findability» and the number of visitors) for the most part depends on the «keywords density» in that page, which simply means the part of «relevant» words and phrases relative to the total page words count. Unfortunately, the (apparently) simple task of keyword density measuring, calculation and comparing it with competing pages is very hard to solve without specialized software. Fortunately, there is such software, named GRKda (stands for «GRSoftware Keyword Density Analyzer»).
GRKda simply takes the page you feed it, counts all the words, and calculates several useful numbers for each of them. The result is presented into the table, each row of this table corresponds to the particular word, and each column corresponds to some number considered to the word. There is (incomplete) list of numbers calculated: count and percent of this word into the entire page, count and percent into «keywords» and «description» meta-tags, into the title, into links and URLs… The more complex mode is when you load several pages into the program (you optimized page, and several «competitors» from search engines tops) and compare densities to improve your page.
GRKda provides a bunch of useful options (you can set word length ignore limit, ignoring of words-with-numbers, which numbers to count and much more).
