Anyway, a nowadays user interface MUST be COOL. Unfortunately, the «lightweight» platforms like Flash seem to have more capabilities to do so than the «serious» full-fledged application development environments. Fortunately, that can be «fixed» easy enough.
3D Control Magic is a suite of .NET components, which can be used for any modern colorful interface. The heart of it is simple but great, and beautiful 3D controls, with a wide variety of shapes and effects made possible, as they arent just glued from a predefined suite of boring images but are rendered in the real 3D. The suite contains a set of buttons (standard push button, checkboxes and radio boxes), set of bordering and describing elements (group box, label, and picture box) and the component for custom form shaping. All you used to see on Flash websites and in modern video games custom shapes, complex gradients, shadows, animation effects and rollovers all of them are here and can be used from your usual VisualStudio environment naturally.
