FurniCAD is a cutting solution, created with a strong intention to become an effective and easy-to-use environment. The goal is achieved with FurniCADs extremely friendly interface, which requires almost no pre-learning and presents every operation to perform in the simplest way possible. In addition, FurniCAD is very smart about cutting algorithms and data import/export.
In FurniCAD, the entire workspace has two main sections: working with Orders and working with Reports. In the Orders part, new products, as well as new materials, are created or imported (from other FurniCAD files, or from Microsoft Excel). Each «product» has parts, from which make it whole, with each part having its own sizes, material, and edge properties.
When you are finished with an order in Orders (it means, you have entered and checked the correctness of all products and all parts), Reports will contain all cutting-related information in the tabular and graphical forms. FurniCADs drawings are intuitively evident and can be immediately used for the real cutting.
FurniCADs options (available as the third section in the workspace) allow the extended setup of long-term parameters like saw and sheets characteristics; they also allow some interface tweaks to make the program completely appropriate for your usage.
