SpamBrave 5, Cruel To Spam, Tender To Your Mail

In August 2002, a prominent computer scientist, programmer and philosopher Paul Graham published an article named «A Plan For Spam», which has discovered not a completely new but almost an unknown method of spam filtering. This method is called «Bayesian classification», and since Graham’s article it has proven itself as the most efficient (if not to say «the only working») tool against spam. The SpamBrave software uses this method (alongside with some other goodies) to bring an amazingly efficient spam filter to Outlook Express and Window Mail.
SpamBrave tightly integrates with Outlook Express, so you don’t need to work with another program; you just get the additional features in your regular e-mail client. When SpamBrave is turned on, all messages considered to be spam are moved to the «Spam» folder, and the unsure messages to «Unsure» folder; all others are processed as usual.
You can set the «Spam» folder to auto-cleanup after time, so you would have the possibility to check what’s considered spam.
Additionally, SpamBrave automatically checks all incoming contacts by Address Book (they are definitely not span), and you can create additional «White List» manually.
Besides the filtering, you can tell SpamBrave to «bounce» spam messages (send replies like «address doesn’t exist», so spammers will remove the address fromtheir databases).
SpamBrave is constantly trained on your real mail and real spam, so its «knowledge» on spammers’ tricks is always up-to-date. And, in addition to Bayesian filter, the program can use online RBL database, which provides information on known spammers. | | | Learn more about SpamBrave… |
