All of us have names that we like or dislike, and practically nothing can be done with that. At a pinch, we can use nicknames. Just the same way, files have their names, which you may like or dislike. If you dont like a certain files name, you just have to rename it. It seems to be quite easy at first, but how about renaming hundred of files? You can just get crazy. Alternatively, you can use very helpful software, The Rename.
The Rename is a program designed to help you rename files and folders en masse, in other words a great number of files together. The software comes with a number of capabilities and options. For example, the file attribute changer is very useful for CD recorder users. Music lovers would like it for the capability to rename audio files (MP3, VQF, OGG, WMA) based on their internal tags. Digital camera owners can handle it because it can use (EXIF) tags that cameras include inside photos. Internet walkers who publish pages can convert file names to lower case. By the way, The Rename can rename pictures with their width and height and files with regular expressions; it can modify file attributes and date/time and you can easily undo all your rename operations if you change your mind.
The Rename is a unique program with a friendly interface that can be used by you for renaming files and folders whether you are a professional or a simple user. | | | Learn more about The Rename… |
