True BoxShot 1.6.3, Excellent Virtual Boxes

The so-called «box shots» (images of 3D boxes with a logo and a description) is a haut ton of software vendors. But, despite the apparent simplicity of the task, a surprisingly small number of websites can take pride for their box shots. The problem is that the «shoot the real box» way requires a great deal of post-processing of the shots (not saying that it requires a real box to be printed and glued first). On the other hand, modeling a virtual box in some complex package requires a ton of special knowledge (and doesn’t guarantee really quality result). Forget the problem. Meet True BoxShot.
True BoxShot addresses the problem of modeling boxes and solves it the best way possible. All you need to do by hands is to load your graphics (plain «sides» of the box with your logos and slogans) in program and set the 3D parameters (distance, rotation) and effects (lights, shadows, reflections). That’s all! Now press «Render», and the box image of the unprecedented quality is yours. While rendering, you can set up a transparent background, format and the size of the resulting image.
There are some additional goodies I must not forget about. First of all, there are several shapes the program can model: besides the regular box, it can make a CD (disk with printing on surface), DVD case, plain screenshot or member card.
