The Bat! is a fast, flexible and cool professional-strength mailer. One of its rare weaknesses is the anti-spam protection, but this lack of feature is easy to fix with a great AntispamSniper plug-in. It is easy-to-use, has colorful statistics and handy settings, but the ost valuable feature is its anger to spam and tenderness to useful mails.
AntispamSniper’s main principle is the statistical learning. You should teach the plug-in which messages are to be considered to which category, and after a short period it will start operating in the full strength. Several additional criteria can be used. You can setup the application to automatically consider messages from your friends as non-spam (and, in addition, learn on them); you can filter messages to the spam/non-spam categories by the inclusion of certain strings (in fact, there are powerful regular expressions for checking the contents); AntispamSniper can check even sender’s IP address by the known spammers online list (DNSBL). All the filtering is under your complete control, up to the level of «deletion on server» by a certain criteria. Snipers become smarter every day with little or no help of a human, you can just observe with pleasure logs of filtering and statistical «pie» of killed/spam/non-spam.
