Kwok Information Server 2.3, IT Management with Pleasure

Every IT business, even the smallest one, needs to manage some, at least the most basic kinds of information related to their business. Of course, when it’s a company of «two directors and one worker», it can manage all of its operations through sticky notes or Excel worksheets. But, becoming serious, becoming organized, with multiple orders, clients, employees, and rooms definitely requires specialized software for managing the most important and basic information and actions.
Kwok Information Server is such kind of «specialized software», simple and yet scalable, easy and yet configurable. It is based on the well-known open source technologies and doesn’t require any software installation on employees’ computers, since both user and admin parts are web-based. The three main kinds of information Kwok Information Server copes with are Issues (tasks), IT Assets (hardware and software), and Contacts (companies and people). Additionally, administrator manages users (employees) themselves.
The system is ready for real-world information. For Issues, it can have any number of configurable issue types and fields. For Hardware/Software, it manages license information (even «software licensed to this hardware»).
