Aesop was a half-legendary ancient Greek, a released slave and Croesus adviser, with complex and tragic lot. His «virtual heritage» is a genre of fable, and the collection of fables is named Aesopica (I named this heritage virtual because its unknown whether real Aesop had written some, all or none of those fables). The influence of Aesopica and its fables on Western Culture cant be overestimated.
Aesopica e-book brings us all the goodness of Classic Aesopica and all the goodness of modern media as well. The e-book not only has fables to read page-by-page, as if you read an old good book, it also groups them to allow you quickly search fables by their main character and final moral. Besides, the e-book is supplemented with extended comments about Aesop and Aesopica with detailed geographical, historical, mythological and cultural references. Many fables have original etching-like pictures and/or other interpretations of the same fable. The overall interface and design of the e-book software is clean and accurate: nothing will distract you from reading and all functions are here, in one or two clicks. | | | Learn more about Aesopica… |
