Plain text is the most common format across computers. Simple texts, log files, results of some operations are just text files. Even web pages are just text files. In the Mass File Editor, you have a list of objects to edit (you can load them file-by-file, by folders, or from textual filelists) and a set of «rules» applied to all of them.
