BmpEdit is an ultra-simple (though not over-simplified) image editing software of «always with me» kind. It weighs only 65 kb, doesn’t require any installation or tuning and provides you with comprehensive interface for editing images of the most popular BMP type. It’s like old good Paint, but smaller, faster, and with wider set of features.
The main goal of BmpEdit is fast editing of already existing images. For this goal, you have a handy set of operations, each of them can be performed with the entire image or concrete selection, like flip and rotate; moreover, having a selected region, you can in a click shift it in any direction (with automatic filling exempt area with repeat of image colors), crop the image to selection’s border, or fill the image inside/outside selection.
But don’t think BmpEdit is only able to small changes! It also has a full-featured set of drawing tools, with really inventive (and quite handy) process of «select where to draw», then «adjust position if necessary», then «select line and fill color and patterns», and then just «paint». This algorithm shows the real orientation which BmpEdit has: careful and precise editing of small images, fast and everyday. Bravo, BmpEdit!
