Since we use computers and store important data in files, weve accustomed to having folders and disks as the only way of organizing our data. Why is it bad? Just because the logical way of the organization may conflict with the way available «physically». You want to have a list of all your music albums on all CDs? You want to see all of your work documents stored in one place on your D: or E: disks and several computers in the network? You want to have your files organized by several criterions (by genre, time of creation, how much you like them, etc.)? Theres no way that can be done!
No way to achieve that in the standard file system. Fortunately, theres InfoLayout, which will you the way!
With InfoLayout, you can create catalogs of your files by scanning selected folders and organizing the results of the scan. While scanning, InfoLayout automatically imports information from MP3 files, creates previews of pictures and documents. Then, you have a catalog of all files of interest organized according to your logic, not to disk space; all information from the catalog is available even when the disks with the source data are unavailable. Now, you can comment catalog entries, search them by title, description, MP3 tags, organize, and create colorful reports for any need, whether thats investigating or informing your friends. | | | Learn more about InfoLayout… |
