Audio Catalog is an organizer for your music collection, and it’s one of the rarest cases when the complicated organizing software is made so easy and natural in use, due to the internal and external levels of logics.
With Audio Catalog, you only need to «import» your music folders into the catalog (or just search for any music through all of your disks), and right when that’s done, what you’ll see will be a lot more convenient than just a bunch of «folders and files». Browsing music by artist, album, year, genre and so on is of the same ease — by selecting the browsing type to the right, you can see, for example, the list of all albums in a collection (with the instant search-as-you-type) and all music from selected album in the main list. Audio Catalog also provides a fast search-as-you-type through this list (even if it contains overall library).
The next major feature is that Audio Catalog naturally integrates an MP3-tag editor — you can edit tags of an individual file or of a group of files, use the automatic «tag-from-filename» and «filename-from-tags» conversions, as well as FreeDB requests.
The interaction with players is done in the same natural way: Audio Catalog has an internal player (very useful while organizing music and also capable of handling play lists and perform as your stand-alone player), and can integrate with WinAmp and Windows Media Player.
