Even the prettiest flower on earth is actually a great combination of simpler shapes (petals), symmetrically repeated around the circle. This is also true about other «tricky» masterpieces — snowflakes, shining stars, and even the most unrealistic designs capturing our eye through the glass of a kaleidoscope. Too sad — all of those exciting figures soon just pass away, and the best we can do about that is enjoy it while it’s here, as we can’t save, refresh or preserve it for the future.
Well, now we can, as we’ve got Mandala Painter. This is a high-end Mandala drawing program for Mandala designers and everyone who just likes creating kaleidoscopic images. It’s a Photoshop-like layer-based drawing tool aimed specially to Mandala painting.
The software includes a rich symbol library collected for the decoration: petals, leaves, spheres, etc. It lets you create your own multipliers, such as spirals, tiling, etc and draws the final rotating image for you automatically, employing powerful mirroring tools. The images can be exchanged with other painting applications via clipboard, exported directly do Adobe Photoshop, saved to an image file of a common format or uploaded to the online Mandala gallery.
Working with Mandala Painter is a lot of fun on its own. With a few mouse clicks, you can switch the appearance of your workspace, choosing from dozens of skins, each one of which can be customized to meet your demands.
