Originally invented as a digital replacement of the paper-based notebook, handheld computers have evolved into true digital assistants. Besides business, we widely use them for our personal pleasure — to play games, watch movies, and listen to favorite songs or audio books, replacing stand-alone game consoles, FM tuners, audio players, etc.
With Softick Audio Gateway you can enjoy all that wirelessly. This audio streaming application runs on your handheld and connects your Palm to the Bluetooth stereo headphones (or other audio equipment). It captures digital audio from the Palm audio subsystem and redirects it to a Bluetooth A2DP device, so that you can listen to digital audio played by any Palm application, including multimedia players, audio book readers, and games — wirelessly. The software handles all Bluetooth audio devices that support Advanced Audio Distribution Profile — stereo headphones or headsets, A2DP-enabled desktop PC, A2DP Speakers. Easy to setup and use, it supports high-quality audio streaming and allows improving the quality of low-bitrate sound. Other common sound-handling tools are also provided.
