If you have a talent for music and believe that some of your favorite songs could’ve been played in a different way, you can, of course, start your own band and create great cover versions. However, if you are not ready for such drastic changes in your life, you can use your musical skills backed by high quality instruments and tools to make the music you like. MidiRunner will be a great starting point for ay musician, as it is affordable, easy to use and has everything necessary for creating the music that sounds right for you!
MidiRunner is a compact application that combines the features of a powerful jukebox for MIDI, MP3, WAV, CD-Audio and other music files and allows you to play numerous MIDI instruments with actual tracks played back in the background. You can use your computer keyboard, a virtual on-screen keyboard or a specialized external keyboard to play music. While a MIDI file is playing, you can read the lyrics extracted from the file, enable/disable specific MIDI tracks, manage the tonality of the song by octave or semitone transpose, as well as increase or decrease the song’s playback rate. Once you are satisfied with the result, you can save it into a new MIDI file. The program also supports playlists, so setting up a familiar sound stage will only take seconds!
