MonoReport is a free .NET library that enables your application to generate spreadsheet reports using Microsoft Excel 2003, 2007 and OpenOffice. The tool requires a report template to be created in advance and then fills the placeholders with your data. Therefore, the report generation process is extremely simple: create a document in any of the supported spreadsheet processors, place report markup where necessary, apply styles, save the document and then call MonoReport from your code passing your data and the name of the file as parameters.
