With Bot Boy, a completely free friend adder application for MySpace, the job of finding and adding essential numbers of friends to your network is no longer a challenge. The program can import friend IDs from a file on disk or automatically gather them from your friend page and your friends’ profiles. At any moment of time, you can add them to your network or save them a file on a local disk for the later use. The software supports multiple accounts, which it stores on your computer, letting you work with as many MySpace accounts as you wish. Continuing with the security issue, it’s worth mentioning that the program doesn’t ask users for entering their MySpace ID or password-you login manually and then work with Bot Boy.
Despite that Bot Boy is distributed free of charge, it features functions essential for the easy living with MySpace. Thus, although the program doesn’t automatically enter captchas on the pages that require those, it recognizes them and alerts user to enter the missing data, placing the cursor in the entry field. So, just typing in the code and hitting Enter is all it takes to get the job done. But if you find captchas annoying and don’t want to mess with them, just opt to skip profiles with captcha when searching, and they’ll no longer bother you.
With just a few clicks, the program can connect you with the multitude of your friends. You can send comments or private messages to the IDs on your contact list-right from the program. It will not only automatically detect whether the message is to be formatted as plain text pr HTML, but also organize the delivery the «most natural way», sending, for instance, not more than a couple of dozens of messages per day.
Tested on the German, French, Italian and other MySpace websites, the application has proven to be a convenient and reliable assistant for everyone that values mass friendship.
